And… I’m back.
Sorry to have left you all hanging for a few weeks but it’s just that time of year for me. Life has sort of taken over and I really just needed a break. Now, where were we…
I believe we are at the part where I had just set up my patio furniture and am now getting ready to celebrate my upcoming (29th) birthday on Saturday! That’s right, in the midst of all the chaos and confusion that this time of year brings me there is also a huge celebration of my day of birth. I know, I know, how selfish, egocentric and narcissistic of me. But you know what? I don’t care. My birthday is a silver lining that I look forward to celebrating each and every year and is not just a party for me but for all of those who I hold near and dear to my heart. Really, it’s just my way to get a bunch of people together and forget about everything for one night. Definitely looking forward to it! This year’s theme…Wild West Casino Night!
We also have date #2 coming up…we are very very late on this but it will be happening on May 27th so stay tuned…
And, if all of that wasn’t enough to look forward to and enjoy (we have a very blessed life) Tyler and I also went to Mumford and Sons last night~!! As soon as I heard that they were coming I had said to Tyler that we should go. But we do live on a pretty tight budget and at the time it was not in the funds to splurge and buy tickets. I absolutely love these guys and even though I was disappointed at first, I guess all my manifesting (and last-minute tickets from an old high school friend of mine) paid off. After hiring a Sherpa to carry me ALL THE WAY up to our seats and getting my nosebleed under control, the lights dimmed and for the next hour and half we were all mesmerized and entertained by the musical styling of this talented bunch.
It was something magical that I will never forget
and more than just a concert.
Thank you Universe for manifestation, random Tuesday nights, musical instruments, Tyler, spontaneity and old friends
